Our new solutions for Motor Fleet Risk Management

To better support our motor fleet customers to thrive, we’re making some exciting enhancements to our risk management proposition that will be effective from 1 May 2026.

We’ve improved our online Fleet Risk Review

Aimed primarily at SME and Mini-fleet clients, but also relevant for larger fleets, our enhanced online platform captures detailed information about a fleet and how it’s managed.

It’s still completely free for clients to use, and we’ve improved it in several ways:

• Easier access to the platform and simplification of the process for granting access to the system
• A revised question set to capture more information to help us better understand our customer’s businesses and what support they might need from AXA
• Streamlined process of reviewing the report by utilising our newly created in-house fleet team in our dedicated AXA risk management hub.

Once all of the information has been submitted to Fleet Risk Review, which is simple to complete and optimised for mobile usage, we’ll use it to provide a report, highlighting the key risks and gaps in compliance.

We’ll also propose practical ways these risks can be addressed. We’ll be asking certain customers to complete this as an ‘open door’ into our wider risk management proposition, but if you have a customer that you think would benefit from using the new Fleet Risk Review (even if they’ve completed it before) then please get in touch with your local AXA branch.

This will enable the customer to benefit from the enhanced output, and get a clear view of their fleet risks, and the key steps to take to protect their drivers, their vehicles and their business. Customers will also be able to access our updated suite of risk management partners, where appropriate, to support them in their ongoing risk management journey.

We’ve developed our in-house risk management guidance for larger fleets

To complement the new Fleet Risk Review we’ve also developed our in-house risk management solutions for larger fleets, to provide support and guidance at every stage.

• We’ve invested in a dedicated fleet risk team of industry professionals who have held senior roles within some of the UK’s largest fleets. Between them they have over 70 years of fleet operations experience. The team's understanding of how Fleet risk and Operator Licence risk are interlinked allows them to offer a unique insight into risk management solutions.
• Our mid-market clients will see a more tailored approach combining the use of online, standard surveys and face-to-face reviews as appropriate, to meet the specific needs of individual businesses.
• For mid-corporate customers, we’ll provide a bespoke service including face-to-face reviews as standard, enabling us to tailor our guidance to their specific fleet and individual risks. Recommendations will be developed with these clients based on their operational needs.
• Our revised risk management partners will help support these recommendations where appropriate and help clients embed risk management policies, systems and culture that will deliver improvements to their fleet risk management exposure.
• We’re also looking to work more closely with any delegated authority or scheme partners that have fleet risks, so we can provide guidance to their clients.
