Interactive property claim form to support fast track claims

We’ve launched a new interactive property claim form

We’ve launched a new interactive property claim form, designed to support faster, more efficient handling of property claims. The form captures the minimum essential information required at First Notification of Loss (FNOL) to route claims quickly and accurately. This helps identify claims suitable for fast track handling routes, including One & Done and Desktop Assessment, accelerating early decision making and settlement.

What’s changing?

With immediate effect, the interactive property claim form must be used for all property claims submitted by email. Telephone notification remains the fastest and preferred route for reporting property claims. However, when claims are submitted by email, completing and attaching the form is now essential to ensure efficient triage from the outset.

Built for fast track routing

The interactive form is intentionally simple and focused. It captures only the core information needed to triage and route claims at FNOL, making it quicker and easier to notify a claim while still enabling fast track handling where appropriate.

Supporting better claim notification at FNOL

We’ve also launched a Claims Requirement Guide, which complements the interactive form by setting out the full range of information that may be required for commercial property claims, including peril specific requirements. While not all of this information is needed to submit a claim, reviewing the guide in advance allows brokers and customers to provide as much relevant detail as possible at FNOL, helping to reduce follow up queries and support smoother claim progression.

Benefits for brokers and customers

  • Faster routing of suitable claims through fast track routes
  • Fewer follow up requests due to missing information
  • Smoother and quicker progression of property claims
