AXA Insurance has named Terri Driscoll-Cooper and Darren Tanner as the new branch managers of Ipswich and Reading respectively.
Driscoll-Cooper joins from Allianz where she holds the role of branch manager for Chelmsford, while Tanner arrives from Jelf where he was a markets and placement executive. Driscoll-Cooper will take up her post in the New Year and Tanner will join AXA mid November.
Meanwhile, Gareth Hughes, who is currently branch manager for Reading and Maidstone will take on the role of branch manager for the London Commercial and Maidstone branches. Current London Commercial branch manager Sean Clark will take up a new role outside the business at the end of the year.
The restructure forms part of AXA's strategy to align key staff and regional offices more closely with the needs of brokers.
“Brokers play an important role in our growth so it is vital we do what we can to meet their needs at a regional level. Terri and Darren are highly regarded in their markets and Gareth has a great knowledge of his local brokers and the key strategic relationships across the Maidstone and London Commercial branches.
I would like to welcome Terri and Darren to AXA and would thank Sean for all of his hard work at AXA and wish him the best for the future” [Linda Courtney, Regional Commercial Branch Director - South]
The move follows the appointments of Michele McTeer and Brendan Clark as North and South Regional Schemes managers in August.
