Training with AXA

We’ve replaced AXA Local Training Clubs and Masterclasses with Broker Academy, developed in collaboration with CII and BIBA. For more information, read the Broker Academy leaflet or visit the CII Broker Academy website.

AXA Broker Talent Seminar, held in CHÂTEAU DE SUDUIRAUT, Bordeaux

Throughout this week long seminar around 20 Broker delegates will explore and seek to understand the following key leadership behaviours through a combination of theory, discussions and team exercises; inspiring a shared vision, enabling others to act, challenging the process, modelling the way & encouraging the heart.

The seminar will be facilitated by Henk van der Laan, who has over 23 years of experience running management and senior executive training in Europe and across the globe. In addition, a number of the AXA Executive team and Senior Managers will be supporting Henk throughout the week. This seminar is accredited at 29 structured CPD learning hours points by the CII.

Whilst it is both intensive and enjoyable, the true benefit of the seminar is the specific insight, personal action planning and networking that each delegate gains throughout the week.

In terms of costs, all we ask is that the Broker delegates pay for their own transport to/from the event – all other costs are funded by AXA.

Learning Objectives

  1. To become familiar with modern management styles and understand how these impact business performance and relationships with employees, customers and suppliers
  2. To explore and understand your current management style, prepare to implement a relevant management style
  3. To exchange experiences, insight and learn from your peers
  4. Understand what partnership means for all parties

The ideal candidates are current leaders in their business (e.g. managing directors, senior directors) or newly appointed directors that have been specifically identified as leaders of the future.

Successful delegates from each seminar are also invited to join the AXA Broker Talent alumni (continuous professional development programme), which provides both regular market insight and also specific events to further develop their learning, knowledge and experience and profile.
