AXA is set to launch a new training programme aimed at helping the brightest young brokers prepare for the future of the insurance industry.
Broker Future, which kicks off in April 2018, and is accredited by the Chartered Insurance Institute, will bring together a host of promising intermediaries and focuses on a number of topics impacting the insurance industry, including the role of technology, flexible working and managing millennials.
As well as helping in the development of brokers, the scheme is also aimed at ensuring tomorrow's leaders have the confidence and experience to take the insurance market into the future. Brokers on the scheme will gain an insight into innovation in insurance and the possibilities that insurtech can bring to the sector.
The programme features two three day seminars in Paris on 2nd to 4th April and 12th to 14th of November 2018 and forms part of a wider AXA strategy of developing industry talent and making the company more resilient for the future.
Those on the Broker Future programme will also be joined by the winner of this year's Broker Apprentice, which is sponsored by AXA and premieres on 2nd of November.
The Broker Future programme is aimed at engaging with young brokers to get them thinking about the future of our industry. The insurance industry is undergoing great change and may look very different in the next 20 to 30 years. We want to work closely with the insurance brokers of tomorrow so we are both ready for what lies ahead.” [Brendan McCafferty, CEO, AXA Insurance, Intermediated and Direct]
The launch of Broker Future follows a successful pilot of the scheme last year. You can find out more detail about the Broker Future programme here.
