Brexit - removal of Freedom of Services

Given the ongoing uncertainty around the impact of the UK leaving the EU on the 29 March 2019, we’ve compiled a briefing pack which focuses on the market removal of the EU member benefit of ‘Freedom of Services’ (FOS).

Brexit - removal of 'Freedom of Services' (FOS)

AXA Insurance is ready for the market removal of FOS

On a rolling basis over the last 12-month renewal cycle, we’ve already transferred all identified FOS business (EU/EEA overseas buildings/assets) onto ‘Local’ policies with an AXA EU entity to provide both our brokers and clients with the reassurance of continuation of cover.

Brexit implications

This briefing has been designed to provide your teams with context around the removal of FOS. We also want to raise awareness in your teams regarding the real possibility of a ’hard Brexit’ scenario and how you may wish to communicate the implications of the removal of FOS and also re-introduction of Green Cards to business clients that may be impacted.
